Stephen Haupt founded Ammon Analytical Laboratory in 1998. Steve's specialty is marketing with a science education. He has worked for several labs since 1988. Through his experience working with great scientists such as Ron Gambardella of Bio Science Lab and NDA Laboratory and William Clauson, of Brunswick Toxicology Lab, he learned what works in the lab business. And what doesn’t.

After building his experience, Steve was fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with Karl Verebey, PhD, to start Ammon Analytical Laboratory. Karl is one of the nation’s premier toxicologists and is expert in the study of cocaine abuse and opiate addiction. He is a board certified forensic toxicologist, member of American Academy of Forensic Science. Karl also published over 100 papers in the drug abuse field. He was involved in the treatment of Methadone from the beginning.

With Steve’s expertise in client service and Karl’s exceptional analytical and scientific skills and reputation, Ammon Analytical Laboratory grew by recruiting several great scientists such as Mohan Patel from the NYC Medical Examiners Toxicology Department where he supervised both clinical and toxicological departments, and Jerry Meenan, from LIJ Medical Center and Met Life Insurance Company.

Since 1998, we’ve maintained our focus on supporting those fighting drug additions. In the process, we grew into the ultimate service business. Today, our clients get the service and comfort of a Vermont Bed & Breakfast, And they have the amenities and tools of a mega-hotel chain.
